Oracle Card Read for the 4th Week of December 2015 (Liberate Yourself)

I'm taking a risk here by giving a universal reading using a past-life card deck which supplies us with archetypal images and situations. I'm breaking in this deck and just learning how to read from it, but the interpretations seem literal and straight to the point.

As we close out the year 2015, we still have unresolved past-life issues to resolve. We'll catch glimpses of these past lives through movies that draw us in, books we read, or stories other people tell us in passing. Also with the Saturn transit in Sagittarius, and current world events, I'm not surprised by the three cards that appear in this reading. Sagittarius represents freedom and Saturn can represent imprisonment or karmic ties.

Angels--Angelic beings surround each of us now as they bring resolution to past life experiences that freeze us or slow us down. These angels reveal karmic patterns as well as, ancestral patterns that cause us pain or health problems, or what appears to be bad luck in an area or two of our lives. Many people collectively find themselves without homes now or they battle with addictions or they feel alone, scared, and that no one loves them. The angels come to tell us that within each of us contains a pure soul made from unconditional love. Our souls are eternal and our experiences in this lifetime act as blinders that prevent us from seeing the big picture.

Call upon your angels for support and ask them to reveal patterns to you and show you the way to healing or clearing those patterns. This leads to liberation.

Karmic Relationships-Either new people come into our lives this week that seem familiar on some level or test us to our core. Or we realize that karmic bonds with people already in our lives have reached a boiling point. It's time to bring healing to those relationships, even if that means breaking away from the people involved. But when I say walking away, this doesn't need to be a permanent situation. We all require space to evolve and sometimes those closest to us won't allow us growth or the space to do our own thing--or to fulfill our mission here.

Imprisonment or Slavery--And karmic ties that feel binding have ties in previous lives in which you were enslaved or imprisoned by the people you have the painful relationships with now. Work with a past life regressionist or hypnotist who can lead you back to those past lives so you can release the bonds. I also recommend Sandra Anne Taylor's "Hidden Power of Your Past Lives" which you can also find on Hay House. Or check out any of Brian Weiss' books or audio recordings which include meditations that allow you to retrieve information from past lives and do the forgiveness work.

I have images of some of you working for corporations and feeling enslaved. One of you works in a call center because you have children to support. You have many gifts and talents, but have been told to do the practical thing by your parents. You feel like you're dying a bit more each day. For you I suggest finding a therapist to help you resolve past life issues as a slave. You have also been imprisoned in many lifetimes. If you work with a therapist, you can reclaim your personal power and I see you flourishing in a field of your choice and not one that was forced upon you by others.

Oracle Card Read for the 3rd Week of December (Love & Romance or Something Else)

When these cards appeared the meaning seemed obvious to me, if I were giving a private reading. However, with a Universal reading there is always the danger of telling everyone reading this blog post that they're going to encounter someone from a past life, fall in love with them and declare themselves Twin Flames. So I want to remind you that this is a general reading so many interpretations apply here.

For instance we could meet a soul mate who isn't a love interest even though I'm reading from the Romance Angels deck. Or it could be that we encounter someone we were married to in a past life or had a passionate affair with that ended in grief and requires healing now. So please don't jump to conclusions and take this reading with a grain of salt. For some of you these cards tell you about a past life relationship that does lead to intimacy with that person, but for others it could be that you meet a soul mate and become best friends or clear out energy from previous lifetimes. But you don't have to jump in bed with each other to do that.

Past-Life Relationship--Doreen's interpretation is simply, "You have known each other before." Now the painting on the card resembles a bodice-ripping romance novel cover. A roguish man embraces a woman and there is a bit of bodice ripping occurring. This just suggest to me that you have an encounter with someone this week who stirs passion in you. Now, this could revolve around sexual attraction, anger, or a deep feeling based on a past life memory. This person seems familiar and this arouses your senses or at least your curiosity. Perhaps you are content to read a romance novel or watch a romantic movie. This creates an energy vortex that attracts those scenarios into your life. Besides, it's fun to watch a romantic movie with holiday themes this time of year.

Soul Mate--Doreen's card reads, "Yes, this is your soul mate." But again, that does not necessarily mean romantic interest, though it very well could be if this is what you desire to manifest in your life and have aligned with that desire. But I know from my own experiences that I did manifest my desires and I wasn't prepared for who arrived when he arrived. This led to self-sabotage and then a journey into self-love which was the alternative to swallowing the bitter pill of regret.

If you practice self-care and respect yourself, feel mature enough to handle a powerful relationship now, then by all means, pursue the relationship. In any case, whoever comes into your life now is playful. And it could be given the final card, that you feel more like brother and sister or like children because you bring out each others inner child.

Children--This card is actually moving around me and is full of energy at the moment. Several scenarios are playing in my mind. The first is that people of a certain age bracket meet and both have children from previous marriages. But this doesn't appear to be a hindrance in any way.

Another scenario brings two people together who want to start a family (an obvious interpretation) and children hover above this couple in the form of spirits wishing to manifest in physical form. The other meaning that pops into my head is that you were brother and sister in a previous lifetime and so you experience affection as you meet again. Or the final message I'm receiving is that you meet each other through your children such as showing up at the same playground, park, or school meeting. You could even meet at a soccer match where your children compete or are on the same team.

In any case, there is a lot of love and resolution coming through with this set of cards. Now, that the holidays are upon us, we experience our inner children. Or we could remember painful memories of the holidays from childhood in which meeting an affectionate person now in which we feel a kinship acts like a healing balm. Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus and he's in a giving mood.

Energy Reading for 2nd Week of December 2015

My oracle card decks that I ordered from Hay House arrived today. And in celebration of that, I've unpacked Doreen Virtue's Romance Angels deck to give a universal reading. However, I would like to give one individual blog read each week.

So if you are interested in receiving a free 3-card reading that will be posted on this blog, contact me with a question. I have several decks to draw upon. And I figure even if I'm giving a reading for an individual, it's still universal since we are all one.

For this week, I pulled 4 Romance Angels cards. Now, we can read these cards as addressing actual relationships or we can look at them as representing other areas of our lives. Use the interpretation that works best for your circumstances. For instance, the first card is Engagement, but for those of us not currently in a relationship or already married, this card takes on different meanings such as engaging with our life force or making a greater commitment to friends, career, or family. It could also refer to past engagements and the energy from that which still swirls around you.

Engagement--The energy I pick up has to do with reaching a higher level of commitment to ourselves through self-love. When we love ourselves, it's like planting seeds in fertile soil in which love blossoms in all areas of our lives. For some of you this means that you are ready to meet your life partner and then when you do, you're able to take your love to the next level. This also works on a spiritual level because it's all connected. For some of you this marks a literal engagement to your partner. Perhaps some of you will see a proposal around the holidays. But be realistic and don't give into fantasies which would lead to disappointment.

I have an image of a child wishing for a specific gift like a bicycle for Christmas and he or she receives something else. But if we love ourselves first and foremost we find fulfillment in each moment and the rest is just icing on the cake. So this card reminds us to take care of the cake and prepare the ground for love to enter.

Express Your Love--Now, for those of you who are in a loving partnership and wishing to tie the knot, then now is the time to express your love. You can do this the old fashion way with cards, wine and dinner with candlelight or some other form that shows appreciation for the beloved.

For those of you not in a relationship then find ways you can express love to people in your life, whether they are children, parents, friends, or even colleagues. Practice acts of kindness and watch love return to you. You can also express love through art, songs, movies, or on social media. Love is universal and I think these cards speak of big love as much as they do romance. If you want romance mirror its energy in your life. This could even include watching romantic movies and listening to love songs.

Finances and Career--Well, you know if it's real love or not when your partner hits a financial snag such as losing a job and you still love him or her. Or it could be that you are single and you only date or consider men or women from a certain profession or income bracket. But you must remember the wheel of fate and fortune is always turning. Someone who has money now might lose it all later or the other way around. Please don't judge another person by the size of their wallet or bank account. That's not love. That's narcissism. Besides, each of us has the power to manifest wealth without depending on another to do that for us. But on the other hand, don't get involved with someone who has zero ambition because living in poverty is a worst kind of fate. And the other fate I wouldn't wish on you is to become a breadwinner for someone who does nothing all day.

For the rest of you this card refers to self-value. Perhaps you still believe that you have to succeed in a particular career or earn a specific sum of money so that others will engage with you. But the truth is if you value yourself then others will value you too. And if they don't, walk on and let that one go.

Forgiving and Learning--Perhaps you're the one who proposes and your partner rejects your proposal. Don't take it personally since most of us are in our own spiritual space these days. Or you might come to the realization that the person of your dreams is not going to return your affection. This card provides a reality check and you're better off facing reality, healing the parts of you that require tender loving care. Then when you come from a place of wholeness, you'll encounter a loving partner out of the blue. But this will occur when you can take or leave the relationship. It is just icing on a cake. Also instead of rehashing past relationships and telling your stories, forgive the past and let it go so you can make room for the new and wonderful waiting on your doorstep.
